For this project we show you how to create a unique and eye catching gift tag that would normally cost a few dollars if purchased in most stores, and make those plain tags that are store bought seem dull by comparison.

For this project we show you how to create a unique and, craft, eye catching gift tag that would normally cost a few dollars if purchased in most stores, and make those plain tags that are store bought seem dull by comparison.You can use Christmas cards, Birthday cards, Easter cards, or any other greeting type card that you think will work well for turning in to a custom gift tag.
By simply recycling a greeting card, you will be doing your part towards recycling and have a customgift tag of your own.
Step one: For this project you will beusing craft scissors to carefully cut out the front section of the greeting card you have chosen.
Step two: Next, using a hole puncher, punch out a hole, 1/2 inch from the top of what will soon be your custom gift tag.
Step three: Now thread a pretty ribbon or decorative string through the hole creating a bow. Try using a multi-colored ribbon that will coordinate with the colors of your gift wrapped package.
That is all there is to creating a simple and quick one of a kind custom gift tag.
Supplies to use:
Recycled Greeting card (Christmas, birthday, miscellaneous, etc.)
Craft scissors
Red and white plaid satin ribbon (3/4 inch or small)
Fine tip sharpie pen to address the tag
Wrapped gift box or package
